JADE EDMISTONE
Jade Edmistone is an Australian swimming champion, breaking 5 World records and winning 3 World titles during her time as an elite athlete.
Outside of her elite athlete career, Jade struggled through a long battle with depression and coping with the uncertainty of her transition from an elite sport, to a 'normal' life. She reflects on this significant challenge many athletes face, in her powerful book, ‘Fish Out of Water.'
Jade is a passionate motivational speaker, speaking about her experiences as a professional athlete, the highs and lows during her career and how she navigated through the transition from being a world champion to living a ‘normal’ life. Jade actively speaks about her experiences with mental health and managing the stresses of a high-performance sport.
Jade is also the founder of the ONCORE Academy, which provides products, education, and development to swimming clubs and swim schools across Australia.
