DANIEL GEORGIEVSKI

Daniel Georgievski is an Australian professional footballer, currently playing in the A-League for the Melbourne City.

 

Daniel played two seasons for the Newcastle Jets, including the 17/18 Grand Final.

​

He is an accomplished International player having played in the Champions and Europa Leagues, and for the National Macedonian team, with 22 International game appearances. 
 
Leaving Australia, at only 18 years old to play for the Romanian club Steaua Bukarest, he won two Championships and the Romanian Super Cup.  
 
Daniel returned to Australia to play the 2014/2015 A-League season for Melbourne Victory, ultimately winning the Australian Championship. In 2017, he was commended for his performance during the Melbourne Victory Grand Final against Sydney FC, being awarded the prestigious Joe Marston Medal. This award recognises the best on ground player performance during an A-League Grand Final. 
 
Off the field, Daniel is an easy-going, and engaging individual, he has lived quite a life for someone so young and has plenty of stories to share. He believes in giving back and is currently a BootsforBalkans brand ambassador, a group that collects new and used boots for disadvantaged people.
